A little Girls Tinkerbell Cake

This cake was for a special, bubbly little girl who informed me that she wanted Tinkerbell on her cake. I didn't want to go with the usual so I created her a bright garden cake with lots of leaves and flowers. She loved the cake and also did everyone else at her party.

This was quite the wedding. I created 7 2 tier cakes with all gum paste flowers. The cakes were used for the center pieces on the tables and the guests cut their own cake to eat as the dessert. What a great idea for a small wedding your dessert and table centerpieces all together.

This cake was created for a couple who has a granddaughter who is very allergic to nuts. As I stated before I do not guarantee nut free products but I will do my best to not have any nut products around when baking and decorating. They let me know after the wedding that everyone loved and enjoyed the cake

Here is the wedding cake which was accompanied with the Whale Cake. Simple but elegant. What a great place to be married at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic on Lower Water Street in Halifax.

Chocolate Fondant Cake

I must say I love Satin Ice. All of the fondant that I have used from them has been excellent. I had this cake over the weekend and I purchased the Dark Chocolate, well it rolled out perfectly and went on the cake so nice. I will recommend anyone who wants to get a great fondant to try this stuff. We have it on our website for sale. Have a look. Videos will be coming shortly. But on to the cake. I created this cake a couple of years ago for a bride in white fondant but look at it in chocolate what a piece.

One of the brides that are getting married this fall contacted me Wednesday afternoon saying that her Grandmother was in the hospital and not doing well and she want to know if I could create her a cake. So I was able to create this for her last minute.

This was quite the cake. I had a customer contact me looking for a Frog Cake so I thought what a challenge! I started searching for inspiration and found something. I email a picture to the customer and a couple of hours later she replied back saying GREAT but could you please add the extras that I’ve drawn on the image. Well what a cake!!! This couple new what they wanted. I added detail from the wedding dress on the top and bottom cake with a little sparkle with jewels. And of course it was Chocolate Marble cake nothing but the best. They even added 3 slab cakes to make sure all the guests will have enough !!

What a busy summer. Lots and lots of cakes on the go. I especially loved creating the record player. It was for a 65th birthday what fun!! Everything was edible except for the needle. They loved it.
